Associate, Sr. Designer/Project Manager

Ryan has built a well-rounded architectural career shaped by work on high-rise condominiums, affordable housing, large-scale resorts, restaurants, and military and government projects. As a senior designer and project manager at AHL, he is currently leading a luxury condominium project in Honolulu. He approaches each project with a balance of technical precision and creative vision, and values clear communication, true collaboration, and team coordination. A member of AHL’s Design and Sustainability Committee, Ryan enjoys contributing to solutions that are both beautiful and forward-thinking.

With a background in sculpture and a passion for design at every scale, Ryan’s interests include furniture, lighting, automotive and motorcycle design, as well as cooking and travel. He’s explored more than 40 countries and is always looking for the next destination—or dish—to try. Outside of the studio, he serves on the board of Docomomo US Hawaii and is an active member of several professional and cultural organizations in Hawai‘i.
