Inspired by Waimea’s natural beauty, the North Hawai‘i Community Hospital ER Renovation reflects rich paniolo heritage while integrating the best in patient-centric, high-tech care and training opportunities. The ER is one of the largest Queen’s Health Systems’ community-funded projects and filled a significant need to deliver quality, accessible, emergent healthcare to the Waimea community. In addition to providing modern medical and technological equipment, the renovation tripled the size of the existing facility, bringing the new ER to 14,000 SF.
