Located on Oʻahu’s West Coast, Camp Erdman has opened its doors to young campers and families with newly remodeled cabins, bathhouse, an archery range and pavilion. Site and Facility upgrades included sidewalk resurfacing, grading change to mitigate ponding and heavy rain run-off, a fresh coat of paint throughout interior and exterior, new interior walls, bathroom ceilings, doors, frames, furniture, bathroom fixtures, and new plumbing and wiring throughout. New specially designed bunk beds with power supply were fabricated and installed. Cabin roofs were repaired or replaced. All new doors and windows. Bathhouses received new solar water heaters and updated, sealed flooring. A new ADA compliant cabin is accessible via a concrete walkway from parking. In addition, five-feet-deep spacious lanais were constructed for campers to mingle and gaze out over the natural, cultural and recreational resources within the Kaʻena Point State Park that Camp Erdman seeks to protect.
