AHL’s office in downtown Honolulu is seeking a Project Architect with Department of Defense (DoD) experience to join our highly creative and collaborative team. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for management, team, and consultant coordination, and oversight of production and design of Department of Defense (DoD) and non-DoD projects.
- Manages technical direction, coordination, and production of DoD projects including non-DoD work as office workloads may change.
- Oversees design development and construction documents.
- Coordinates design of the project with both outside consultants and in-house project teams.
- Coordinates all design and technical details.
- Designs and develops technical design concepts, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Manages the preparation of design drawings by other designers.
- Reviews documents for code compliance.
- Assists with design and production relating to more complicated areas of construction documents and aids in solutions to general architectural problems.
- Acts as job captain in the absence of this position.
Salary Range $92,000 to $114,000
