Terry’s devotion to 21st century educational facilities and learning environments leads him to design with the purpose of leaving a positive impact on students and their surrounding community. He says, “At the end of the day, it’s good to go home feeling that my designs positively affect the future of student lives for many years.” For more than 45 years, Terry has worked on projects ranging from custom residential to multimillion dollar government buildings in California and Hawaii. He has been with AHL since 1997 and is the principal of the studio responsible for educational, healthcare and government projects. His responsibilities include designing, managing and collaborating with owners, architects and contractors while charting a course for AHL’s future. Terry is passionate about well designed, fast cars and after his morning commute, his daily fitness routine involves walking up the 31 flights of stairs to our office.
